Car Description:
The North County Rally Team car: a full stage rally build. The car has competed in 15 stage rally events from Rally America and ARA, between 2017 and today. Started with a six point roll cage, built above minimum requirements. Six point harnesses and fixed back "halo" seats are next. The engine is an EJ25D block with EJ22E single port heads. Intake is routed in from the cabin to prevent sucking in water at crossings. Exhaust is nearly straight piped save for a resonator and cat at the tail end. The transmission is out of a JDM Bugeye WRX, 4.44 ratio with LSD rear. Wheels are basic Subaru 15" alloys, wrapped in Federal gravel rally tires. Shocks are supposedly "custom" gravel rally spec coilovers from Tein. Car gets a new livery/paintjob/wrap every couple years just to change it up, currently has our "CircuitBird" design from 2023. Up front are four PIAA HID rally lights in a fiberglass light pod.
