Car Description:
I bought the car with a blown engine as a project car for a high school auto class that I teach. 5 of my High school auto class students during Covid removed the old engine and completely reassembled it with a Teter Performance Stage 2 STI block with forged internals. Heads where gone through and the students did the assembly. ARP head studs, gates timing kit, Morosso oil pickup, JDM oil pump. Car is equipped with Front mount intercooler kit, ID injectors, fuel system upgrades and pump, Boost controller and aftermarket bypass valve, AOS, and air intake with MAF housing to include air package. Exhaust is SPT cat back invidiahi-flow cat, down pipe and electric cut out. Ported factory exhaust manifold and up pipe. The car has been all blacked out with the exception of a single red strip on the trunk. Aftermarket tail and head lights. The most notable mods is the custom hand built aero package consisting of splitter, defuser, spats, and ground effect canards. The rear wing is also custom inspired by GT race cars. All items hand made out of HDPE plastic and shaped to fit the vehicle. vehicle has a set of aftermarket wheels, tires and KYB performance struts. hood vents and bumper vents custom installed as well. Interiors is Sony head unit, Outback A/C switch mod, and gauge cluster loaded with AEM instrumentation. An assortment of red Perrin under hood additions as well. The car is a departure from the norm being an under represented group as a narrow body. and aero kit that is not bolt on variety. I enjoy the conversation it strikes as different in the Subaru enthusiast group. Again the engine was assembled by my automotive students and the rest fabricated by me. with the exception of the Teter block and tunning by Graham, all else done in house at South Elgin High School Automotive Technology Program Thank you for your time, have a good day.
