I bought my Subaru Crosstrek in January 2023, shortly after my Dodge Durango was stolen. When it came time to replace the Durango, I didn’t hesitate—I jumped into the Subaru family immediately. I’ve been around Subarus for a while since my family members are huge Subaru fans, so it felt like a natural choice.
As an auto enthusiast, I always had my eye on the WRX. But with my daily commute into Chicago, driving a manual in heavy traffic didn’t sound like fun. Plus, I’ve always preferred hatchbacks over sedans for their versatility. That’s when the Crosstrek caught my attention, especially after Subaru introduced the Sport trim with the 2.5L engine.
Now that I’ve had this car for a while, I can confidently say I love it—it’s the perfect do-everything vehicle for me. And being part of the Subaru community makes it even better. Just a few days ago, I got "MOO'D" by fellow enthusiasts—a fun tradition where they leave a cow figure and a card on your car. It absolutely made my day to know that others appreciate cool Subarus as much as I do!
